  • Serve as the Washington-based host and representative to support grantees and grant makers visiting from the Democracy Hub trusts in Eastern Europe
  • Handle administrative duties for the team, including scheduling all internal and external meetings, drafting correspondence, and facilitating outreach to external partners and stakeholders
  • Monitor political developments, civil society perspectives, and relevant policy issues in Ukraine and other embattled democracies, from Eastern Europe to the United States
  • Assist the malign finance and corruption team with other projects, as requested

Knowledge and Skills Needed:

  • Approximately six months to two years of prior work or internship experience in a think tank, public sector, or non-profit setting, preferably with administrative experience
  • Knowledge of or demonstrable interest in issues of transatlantic democracy, Ukrainian anti-corruption reform efforts, and Eastern European civil society
  • Strong organizational habits and management skills, with superb attention to detail and an ability to meet multiple deadlines and play a central role in the operation of a small and growing team
  • Strong computer and database management skills, including experience with Microsoft products and a demonstrable interest in building deep knowledge of GMF systems such as Dynamics, Concept, NetSuite, InDesign, OneDrive, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, and others
  • Excellent writing, speaking, and editing skills in English

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Salary: $37,600 - $47,000
